Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

NB: Sie dürfen erst am Seminar teilnehmen, wenn Sie den ersten Studienabschnitt absolviert haben.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Students will be expected to come to the seminar regularly, to have prepared the Latin text and also secondary reading as requested. Active participation in discussion is expected. Students will give one or more reports and also write a final paper.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

To work through text of Gregory of Tours and read closely, to use it as a springboard to study the world of the Merovingians.
