Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This survey outlines the history of British literature from 1700 to the present day. Emphasis will be put on an analysis of seminal literary texts of the period covered and the historical and cultural context of their production.

Students should gain an overview of the history of British literature from 1700 to the present day and become familiar with seminal literary texts of the period covered.
