Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This course will deal with the fictional phenomenon of time travel. We will be looking at the foundational text of the genre, H.G Wells's The Time Machine, and at other examples of time travel literature from the 20th and 21st centuries to examine the diversity of the genre and probe into the poetics and politica of time travel.

This class aims at providing students with the competences and skills, as well as the necessary theoretical and historical background, to analyse time travel literature from a variety of perspectives, and to turn their thoughts and arguments into coherent academic writing.
