Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Assessment is mainly based on a portfolio. The texts are written with reference to the literature read at home and discussed in class as well as the guidelines provided for each task.
- Observation report 10%
- Peer teaching + peer teaching related tasks in portfolio 35%
- School book tasks (CLT, vocabulary, listening) 30%
- Journal task (group work) 5%
- Concluding reflection 10%
- Language issues/not complying with formal aspects -20%Reading, online assignments, glossary, discussions (f2f, online) etc. 10%

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Minimum requirements: You are expected to 1. observe an experienced English teacher in a self-organised visit to a secondary school/institution of your choice; 2. teach your peers in a short sequence in our course (together with a colleague); 3. hand in a course portfolio; 4. attend class regularly (max. 2 absences). The pass mark is 60%.

The objectives of this course are to prepare students for the "Schulpraktikum" by focusing on the diverse roles and tasks of the EFL teacher, the basic concepts of CLT, lesson planning, classroom management and practical teaching techniques, as well as observation criteria.Core Content:- Teacher's roles
