Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In the communicative language classroom teachers may employ language teaching games and communicative activities to get learners to use the foreign language spontaneously and sometimes creatively. Therefore games and activities provide welcome opportunities for language practice, and knowing a range of prototypes of activities will help teachers make language practice enjoyable and effective. We shall be looking at a wide selection of practical activities and games as well as at the theoretical foundations of language play, games and activities and their potential for learning another language. Therefore be prepared to engage in activities as well as in their critical analysis.
