Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This course builds on the knowledge students gained in the introductory lectures. Students taking this course are supposed to be familiar with the basics of literary analysis (narrative techniques, genre, point of view, etc.). However, students will receive a script in the first session to brush up their knowledge. We will discuss one (or more) literary texts from different genres and periods every week. By means of discussion questions, which students are supposed to prepare for each sessions, we are going to approach these texts from various critical angles.
