Prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung

This course illustrates a wealth of different genres and narrative techniques from Shakespeare to the present. Special emphasis will be devoted to point of view, characterisation, unreliable narration, mood, representations of space and cultural identity. The aim is to practice and expand the interpretative skills which were taught in the proseminar in order to demonstrate the effects of formal details on the potential meanings of a selection of literary works.
