130029 UE Literaturwissenschaftliche Übung mit Bachelorarbeit II (2015S)

The course begins by methodological section with following topics: 1) central features of scientific discourse and how it differs from other literary discussion, 2) research topic and the formulation of research questions, 3) argumentation, 4) gathering of source material, and its evaluation, 5) use of scientific concepts and theoretical framework, 6) use of references, 7) use of methods, 8) giving feedback and instruction to others. The methodological section also includes small exercises related to these questions. After that follows discussion section, which consists of the presentation of the seminar papers, and their handling in the group.
