Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course will explore the movement of people across national boundaries in the late 20th Century, and focus on the rise of patterns, problems and policy for national development. The aim of the seminar is twofold: to put the main theories on migration and their conceptual network under scrutiny and to address some questions about the blind spots of the study on the linkage between international migration and national development. The nexus between international migration and development will be analysed on the basis of selected case study material.
