Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Students will design and implement a research project in the realm of any of the following fields: development economics, international economics, political economy.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Mitarbeit, Beteiligung an Diskussionen, schriftliche Vorarbeiten, abschließende Bachelorarbeit von mindestens 60.000 Zeichen inkl. Leerzeichen mit wissenschaftlich vertretbarem Inhalt und in angemessener Form. Sollten Studierende in den Bachelorstudienplan 2011 umgestiegen sein und die Voraussetzungen für den Besuch des Bachelorseminars erbringen, so hat die abschließende Bachelorarbeit wenigstens 95.000 Zeichen inklusive Leerzeichen bei sonst gleichen Bedingungen zu umfassen. Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

The objective of the seminar is for the students to familiarize themselves with the formulation and implementation of research questions and strategies.

Prüfungsstoff

After a short introduction, students will form groups to analyze and discuss common research interests, as well as research strategies. This will lead to the realization of their Bachelor Thesis (individually) at the end of the semester.
