Prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung

This course covers some of the key topics in Development Economics. The course will be taught at an introductory level. No prior knowledge of Economics is assumed.

This course repeats and deepens the topics discussed in Prof. Cunat's lecture. We will be trailing Cunat's lecture by one week. You should try to take both (lecture and this course) in the same semester to save yourself some work.

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course is held in English. No one will grade your English skill as long as you can express yourself (written and in speaking) and follow class.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Students will be evaluated on the basis of their presentations during the course and written homeworks to be handed in regularly. Class participation will be noted and can improve students' grades.
