Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Your performance of this course will be evaluated in the following aspects.
1. Class assignment 30%
You will be asked to complete one or more writing assignments at each session of the class and assess the submissions of one of your colleagues.
Two scales will be applied for the grading: pass and not pass.
For each assignment, you will get 30 points if you pass and 0 point if you don’t. The scores will be averaged at the end of the course. You will automatically receive 0 point for the assignments of the session that you miss.
2. Mid-term exam: free-style writing - summary 30%
For this exam, you will be asked to write a summary of the various opinions presented in the materials given to you.
A gradian scale from 0-100 will be applied for the grading, which will be weighted by 30%.
3. Final exam: free-style writing - commentary 40%
For this exam, you will be asked to write a commentary based on the materials given to you.
A gradian scale from 0-100 will be applied for the grading, which will be weighted by 40%.
Your final score will consist of
A (30 or 0) + B (percentile score*30%) + C (percentile score *40%), the total of which will be converted to grades as the following:

Gruppe 2/Riedl:Der Schwerpunkt dieser Lehrveranstaltung liegt auf dem wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten im Bereich Recht und Rechtswissenschaften.Erarbeitung folgender theoretischer Grundlagen:
- Grundlagen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens
- Grundlagen des modernen chinesischen Rechts
- Quellenkunde
- Grundlagen der juristischen Methodenlehre
- Korrekte Verwendung von Gesetzen und JudikatenAnwendung des theoretischen Wissens:
- Wahl eines eigenen Themas aus dem Bereich des modernen chinesischen Rechts
- Ausarbeitung und Präzisierung einer Fragestellung
- Erstellung einer Buchrezension
- Erstellung einer wissenschaftlichen Arbeit

Gruppe 2/Riedl:Basierend auf dem gewählten Thema wird von den Studierenden eine Fragestellung erarbeitet und eine wissenschaftliche Arbeit erstellt.

The course takes the form of workshop and employs the method of learn through doing. You are expected to complete the reading and/or writing assignments given to you prior to or at the class, to assess the submissions from your colleagues, and to participate in the discussions and other required activities at the class. The workload of this course is moderate. Class presence is mandatory.
The class will take place online on Moodle, using the Collaborate and/or Workshop tools. Adjustment may be taken to meet the new pandemic regulation measures, if so happens.
The class will NOT admit new students after its 3rd session (the 4th if including the introductory session).
To be eligible for the exam, you may not be absent from the class for more than 3 sessions (excluding the introductory session). Exceptions to the participation in the lessons are allowed only in special circumstances, such as, medical emergencies.
