Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Prerequisites:
As a minimum requirement, you must be able to read and write Hanyu Pinyin proficiently. Additionally, it is important to passively recognize and understand Chinese characters.

Course Description:
The aim of this course is to develop proficiency in reading and writing Chinese sentences and paragraphs with basic structures. You will also learn to write and type Chinese sentences and short texts on electronic devices.

Throughout the semester, you will become familiar with different writing styles, formatting conventions, and the Chinese punctuation system.

By the end of the course, you will be able to write short texts of approximately 250 characters in Chinese.

Course Format:
This course will be conducted on-site.

Homeworks and two written exams:
Exams will be held in person. No aids are permitted.
You will receive further information during the semester.
