Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course will offer students a tutorial on writing a literature review. In addition, participants will engage in discussions about the historical figure of Jiang Qing (Madame Mao) and her activities as an actress and a politician. The course will have an interactive format. After giving an introduction on the function of the literature review in the academic research process, it will familiarize the participants with tools like library research, databases, Google Scholar, CNKI, and AI-powered tools like Elicit, Research Rabbit, and ChatGPT. It will guide them while doing their research, helping them to critically evaluate the tools at their disposal.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Attendance at each class session is mandatory. Instructions for the exercises, assignments, presentations, and literature review paper will be communicated via Moodle.

The maximum tolerated absence is for 3 sessions.
