Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
The course is devoted to the transition from the Teory of Government and Binding (GB) to the Minimalist Program. We will be using two recently published minimalist course books ("Understanding Minimalism" and "A Course in Minimalist Syntax").

The goal of the course is to introduce and discuss the intricacies of the minimalist framework and at the same time set the relevant problems against the GB-background. Due to that, some past GB-experience is necessary to follow the course.
Prüfungsstoff
The course is based on the assigned readings and further discussion thereof.
