Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Ziele:

- Vertiefung des Verständnisses der jüngsten Entwicklungen an der Schnittstelle zwischen Philosophie des Geistes und Kognitionswissenschaft
- Die kritisch philosophische Auseinandersetzung mit empirischen und technologischen Entwicklungen in der Kognitionswissenschaft
- Darstellung der besonderen Rolle der Philosophie als Teil der Kognitionswissenschaft
- Anwendung der Methoden der analytischen Philosophie des Geistes

Inhalt: Das Seminar widmet sich der vertiefenden Diskussion über jene Themen, die in der Vorlesung „Current Developments in Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science“ gelehrt wurden.

Methoden: Online-Präsentationen als Einleitung fokussierter Diskussionen

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

- Die Teilnehmer werden kurze Reflexionen über das Thema der jeweiligen Seminarsitzung via Moodle einreichen.
- Die Studierenden müssen eine Präsentation abhalten
- Aktive Teilnahme an der Diskussion

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

- Unentschuldigte Abwesenheit in 1 von 7 Sitzungen erlaubt.
- Präsentation (30% der Note)
- Aktive Teilnahme (50% der Note)
- Reflexionen (20% der Note)
