Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In the MEi:CogSci lecture series researchers from the core disciplines of cognitive science at the University of Vienna and Medical University of Vienna introduce their research questions, topics, approaches and methods in short evening talks.

Learning Outcomes:
- Familiarity with individual researchers' questions and approaches
- Insight into the field and scientific culture of the core disciplines of cognitive science
- Insight how a particular way to pose a scientific question is related to the methodology chosen

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Assessment: Written exam. Time: 90 minutes. Choose three lectures, one from the humanities, one from natural science, one from formal science and answer questions provided for each of the chosen lectures.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Being able to summarise and critically reflect on the lectures in the form of a written exam.
