This seminar will be held online via Zoom on Tuesdays, 11.30AM to 1 PM. The first meeting is in the second week of the semester.

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Social Ontology is usually defined as the study of the nature and the basic properties of the social world. In this seminar, we discuss selected recent contributions to social ontology. Topics to be covered include collective intentionality, norms and institutions, and social identity.

Participation in the meetings is mandatory.

Moderation of one meeting (20%)
Active participation in the discussion (20%)

Successfull completion of the course requires an overall grade of at least 4; missing contributions will be graded with 5.
