For first-year-MEi:CogSci-students, this seminar takes place in conjunction with the lab internship which is part of the "Introduction into Research II"-Module. Other students who would like to present their cognition research as a poster to an interdisciplinary and international audience are welcome.During the peer-review process students learn to assess and evaluate the research of their colleagues as well as give feedback to their research projects. They further learn to present their own scientific research as a poster at the international MEi:CogSci Conference and critically discuss the research projects.Learning Outcomes:
- Ability to communicate a small research project, write an abstract, and present the project as a poster
- Ability to defend one's research project and constructively deal with critical commentary
- Ability to appreciate and critically discuss scientific work of colleagues
