Vorbesprechung Mo 5.10.2015Social interactions in naturalistic settingsHow can we tackle, explore, and capture what is going on when people are engaging with each other and the world? Investigating processes of engagement in real‐life interactions poses a number of [methodological and conceptual] challenges. In the first phase of the seminar we will introduce and discuss several approaches ‐ different ways of looking at and analyzing interactions from ethology, psychology, and socio-cultural studies ‐ that have been developed to meet these challenges and provide you with background literature you can select from for in depth exploration and discussion. Throughout the seminar we invite you to share what strikes you as particularly interesting about social interactions with your colleagues and identify shared interests.
