Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Prospective teachers enter into a reflective, profound dialogue examining theories and practice concerning learning and teaching styles. As a first step, students will obtain a comprehensive picture of the current state of the art of learning styles research. Different models and theories will be discussed leading to a personal evaluation of various approaches. In a next step, a self-critical analysis of one's own teaching and learning style will be necessary as a basis for teaching. Finally, students will be introduced to practical tools which will be further explored within activities in this course. After having gained expertise in the field of "Lernen lernen", students will leave this seminar with a collection of "Learning how to study" teaching material useful for their future careers.
