Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Behavioral Public Policy is an interdisciplinary approach to policy design that draws on insights from behavioral economics, psychology, and other social sciences to develop effective and human-centered policy measures. In this seminar, various ways of influencing human behavior—particularly in response to societal challenges—are introduces and critically discussed. This includes examining both the possibilities and limitations of individual-level policies (nudges, boosts) as well as system-level policies (incentives, regulations).

Short presentation and moderation of the discussion (50%) + written assignment (50%)

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Interest in interdisciplinary perspectives on addressing societal challenges.
