Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This course aims to train students at proficiently performing all the steps necessary to conduct empirical research in the field of psychology of aging. This is a 2-semester course program. During the winter term 2023, students read the relevant literature and finished data collection for an interview study and an online intervention study on the topic of active aging. During this summer term, students will analyze and interpret the results and document their findings.

Each student will choose a research question referring to the interview and/or the online study. Five groups of 4 students each will be created, with students working on similar research questions joining the same group.

Each group will give one oral presentation to present their research questions (exposé) and a second oral presentation to present their findings in the form of a poster (results), and they will summarize their research project in a written report (3.000-3.200 words).
