The content of this seminar is based on the scientific reading seminar and the the literature of self-compassion, mindfulness, and affective touching (of the self and from others) and their effects of stress coping and well-being. Students learn to
The goal is that each student is able to write a scientific thesis based on a concept of an empirical study in the form of a scientific paper. The above-mentioned topics are the framework within which the course will move thematically. Students work on group projects, but are allowed to deviate from the group proposal in their individual thesis.
During five live plenary sessions:
- Learn about formal requirements
- Ask open questions
- Receive time to work on the thesis (writing)
- Receive inputs/methodological toolkit (citation managers, ChatGPT, R/Stata introduction for using linear mixed models)
In addition, there will be fixed office hours for groups to come in and discuss their project proposals.
