200290 PS Spezifische Schwerpunkte: Gedächtnis und -störungen in der Klinischen Psychologie (2007W)

The seminar will include a review of current models of memory and the neuroanatomical basis of memory functioning. Memory disorders associated with a range of clinical populations will be presented. These will include neurological disorders and memory deficits arising from psychological trauma. Clinical issues associated with the assessment and measurement of memory performance, and psychological intervention for people with memory disorders, will also be addressed. Examples of clinical practise and case examples will be discussed.
