Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The aim of the seminar is to offer the students a possibility to acquire a broad understanding of the political, economic and social context in Central and Eastern Europe since the fall of communism. Moreover, the seminar aims to familiarise the students with the concepts of systemic transition and Europeanisation and the ways of applying them to the comparative study of the developments in the countries of the region.

Fourth, it will shed light on the implications of the accession to the EU and the on-going processes of Europeanisation. Moreover, the course will cover a range of issues of relevance for the Central and Eastern European countries, including the characteristics of the post-communist society, changes in the geopolitical situation, regional development issues and the recent political and economic trends.
