Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
InhalteThe course aims to: 1. Revisit the foundations of queer theory and to map out the synergies (as well as differences) between sexuality and gender analyses; 2. Outline recent critiques and critical debates within queer studies, special attention will be given to critical perspectives articulated from intersections of queer/crip and of queer/race and ethnicity. 3. Bringing the above discussions together through concepts of transnationality and globalisation, we will consider queer notions of time and temporality. This third block will be addressed at a theme workshop in Prague.
