Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Since the early 2000s a major shift occured in art practices: more involvement of artists with local 'communities' and participation in the process of creativity - what N. Bourriaud called 'relational aesthetics'. Moreover, ethnographic field research has become another artistic practice in that context, a topic centrally discussed by Arnd Schneider and Chris Wirght.
The seminar will investigate several issues and works of such art approaches.
