1. 2. Holidays and the working competition in the first two decades of a socialist Yugoslavia: a strategic relationship (an overview of a socialist festive calendar and its relation to the socialist conceptualisation of work and working competition; holidays as a social strategy)

3. Community Building through Festivities: A Case of Dirty Togetherness? (holidays and festivities in general as a social strategy and at the same time as occasions for tactical behaviour; their relation to the idea of dirty togetherness which became one of the stereotypical characterisations of socialist societies in general)

4. Contemporary perceptions of an "ethnographic adequacy": how perceptions about traditionality and authenticity of the three events (Kravji bal/Cow’s Ball, Vasovanje/Village Serenade and Kmecka ohcet/Rural Wedding in Bohinju) have changed in the last seven decades ("folklore" or "ethnographic" events during socialism and nowdays)
