- No lectures of the teacher!
- Instead of asking 'what is a picture', this course rather asks about 'the power of pictures'. This closely relates a) to the phenomena of iconoclasm, and b) to various forms of social art that have grown since the new millenium (but not only).
- The goals of this course are:
1) to get acquainted with major literature to the topic;
2) to be trained in researching;
3) to train scholarly debate;
3) training in writing scholarly papers.
