Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This seminar is the "research seminar" of the complex analysis group. Students will be introduced to current research activity in the field through guest lectures and presentations of group members and will be assigned a paper for independent reading and presentation. If you are interested in a more basic seminar, look at our "Seminar Geometry" https://ufind.univie.ac.at/en/course.html?lv=250105&semester=2025S in which we go through an (advanced) textbook.
In this seminar, a basic working knowledge of Complex Analysis is expected of the participants.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

The grade is based on the presentation and participation.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

At least one presentation and active participation is needed for a positive grade.

Prüfungsstoff

Students prepare an assigned paper for presentation and either present in one of the seminar slots or at a presentation afternoon at the end of the semester.

Literatur

Literature will be assigned on an individual basis.
