Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Die "Lineare Algebra" ist - neben der "Analysis" - einer der beiden "Grundpfeiler", auf dem weite Teile der Mathematik (und insbesondere das weitere Mathematikstudium) aufbauen, aber auch unabdingbares Handwerkzeug in anderen Naturwissenschaften. Die Themen, die im zweiten Semester dieses Vorlesungszyklus besprochen werden, sind: Jordansche Normalform von Matrizen, Vektorräume mit
innerem Produkt (Euklidische und unitäre Vektorräume), Spektralsätze für spezielle Operatoren, Hauptachsentransformation,
Tensoren und Multilineare Algebra.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Einführung in ein grundlegendes mathematisches Stoffgebiet. Aneignung grundlegender mathematischer Denkweisen.

Literatur

Ich werde auch im zweiten Semester als Grundlage der Vorlesung das Buch "Linear Algebra" von Gerd Fischer (Vieweg) verwenden. Weitere empfehlenswerte Bücher sind: Howard Anton: Lineare Algebra (Spektrum-Lehrbuch) Thomas Bröcker, Lineare Algebra und Geometrie (Birkhäuser-Verlag)
