Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Dieses Seminar ist der modernen Theorie des Teilraumsatzes gewidmet.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Die Teilnehmer sollen an den aktuellen Stand der Forschung ein zentrales Resultat der modernen Diophantischen Approximation betreffend herangeführt werden.
Prüfungsstoff
Als Grundlage des Seminars wird der Artikel "Approximation of Algebraic Numbers" von Prof. H.P. Schlickewei dienen, der im Tagungsband einer Summer School über Diophantische Approximation erschienen ist.
