Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Chemical recognition is the most innovative field in chemistry, especially concerning synthetic receptors. In this way, the basic findings of biology can be explained by chemical interactions. Furthermore, chemical strategies allow mimicking natural interaction sites. Functionalized polymers are a suitable platform for doing this. Obviously, coatings for chemical sensors are successfully designed in this way.
