Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

TEACHING METHODS

- data analysis exercises

LEARNING OUTCOMES
At the end of the course, students should:
- be familiar with the topics encompassed by the field of Chemical Biology
- be aware of recent developments in the field
- understand some of the challenges and controversies in the field
- be able to read, understand and critically evaluate a journal article
- be able to discuss a journal article or data set and draw conclusions from it
- be able to apply the knowledge and skills learnt to their master theses and in other situations

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Participation, assessment exercises, final exam.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

ASSESSMENT
- 40% of the course grade will be based on two assessment exercises given during the course period to be submitted by the end of December 2022.
- 60% of the course grade will be based on a final assessment to be done in students’ own time and submitted by the end of January 2023.
- Grades will be given as: 0–49% (5), 50–59% (4), 60–74% (3), 75–89% (2), 90–100% (1)
