Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
The student will learn about the use of molluscs and their shells in reconstructing the recent history of marine ecosystems with a particular focus on the use of death assemblages and museum collections. The lectures include theoretical concepts on taphonomy and paleoecology functional to historical ecology as well as data analysis in R.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
The evaluation includes the assessment of proficiency during the course as well as a written report at the end.
