Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This course is geared towards students on the master or PhD level, who are already working on problems involving environmental (geo)chemistry in the context of their master or PhD project, that may benefit from using thermodynamic speciation models. During the course, students will present their problems and will work towards the definition of conceptual and numerical models in this context.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Presentation of your master or PhD project to all other students at the beginning of the course; suggest what you aim to accomplish by modelling within the context of the project (25 %)
Submit a summary of data (e.g., experimental data, field data) that you need for your modelling at the beginning of the course (10 %)
Submit input files at the end of the course (30 %)
Make a short presentation on what you accoplished at the end of the course (35 %)
The course may be held on-line or in-class. Attendance is required.
