Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In this seminar, we will read and discuss scientific papers.

A detailed reading list will be announced during the seminar.

Besides the scientific content, an important aim of the seminar is to learn how to effectively work with scientific literature.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Presentation of at least one scientific paper, including critical review.
Continuous assessment of the participation in discussions.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

60% presentation of scientific papers
40% active participation in discussion

Attendance is mandatory. In case of sickness, a medical certificate must be provided.

Prüfungsstoff

There will be no exam. Grading will be based on presentations and participation in the discussions.

Literatur

The literature will be announced during the course of the seminar.
