Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This lecture series is intended for scientific exchange with external scientists in form of invited talks. Students get a deepened insight into the research foci of the invited researchers and are encouraged to ask questions during the discussion. Our goal is to have most talks in-person, however some talks might still be online. The constantly updated colloquium program can be found here: https://imgw.univie.ac.at/en/news-events/colloquium-program/
Please check in advance if the next colloquium will be in-person or online.

Structure of the course:
Talk + discussion should take around 1 hour. This is followed by a closed 30 minute Meet-the-speaker session between the students and the speaker.

The students are expected to actively participate in the discussion as well as in the following Meet-the-speaker session.
