Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The main aim of this course is to conduct research on sediment cascades and connectivity in selected catchment systems in the Austrian Alps (i.e. Zlambach in Upper Austria, Kleinsölkbach in Styria)

Contents/topics: Sediment transport, sediment cascades, sediment connectivity, cascading effects in geomorphology, natural hazards (management)

Methods: Field work (mapping), modelling, GIS - in groups
