Students will be introduced to basic topics in Earth Surface Dynamics and Management and the work of the Geomorphological Systems and Risk Research (ENGAGE) working group (incl. related sub-working groups), responsible for the
"Specialisation: Earth Surface Dynamics and Management".

Introduction to individual research topics by experts of the Geomorphological Systems and Risk Research (ENGAGE) working group (incl. related sub- working groups).

Grading scale for the final exam:

88 – 100: 1
76 – 87: 2
63 – 75: 3
51 – 62: 4
< 51: 5

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

The mark is based on points. The max. number are 100 points. To be graded positive, the following minimum requirements have to be met:
- 60 points through contributions and the exercise
- 40 points for the final written exam.

Grading scale for the course:

88 – 100: 1
76 – 87: 2
63 – 75: 3
51 – 62: 4
< 51: 5

Prüfungsstoff

Materials include the slides of the individual presentations (a regular attendance is compulsory), the identified literature references and the exercises of the respective lecturers.
