The seminar will be held in English and will take place in digital or, if applicable, hybrid form: a) Online events on a weekly basis with changing inputs, discussion forums and moderation, b) Face-to-face events in small groups if the COVID-19 situation allows it – if not, group work will also take place online (collaborate).

The seminar consists of 3 parts:
a) research seminar (case studies);
b) concept seminar (assessment system development);
c) evaluation seminar (case studies).
For the successful completion of the seminar the following aspects are required: see next section

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The seminar is divided into three parts, which must be worked on for the successful completion of the seminar:
a) Research seminar (work on individual case studies with short interim presentations in plenary)
b) Concept seminar (active contribution in discussions and research for the joint development of an assessment system)
c) Evaluation seminar (evaluation of individual case studies, presentation of final results in plenary, contribution to joint outcome)

Prüfungsstoff
- Scientific paper (4000-5000 words for individual papers) (40%)
- Presentations (interim and final results) (40%)
- Participation in discussion, including moderation/notes (20%)
For a positive final assessment, the seminar paper must be passed. A positive final assessment is only given if all minimum requirements have been met.
