Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The seminar is a scientific discourse about (student-) selected topics approached via individual contributions through presentations/demos, discussions, and a brief written paper.

The seminar focuses on the topic of "Places Of Interest" with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the spectrum of contributions, methods, datasets, and application areas that relate to the computational representation, processing, analysis, and visualization of places and areas of interest ranging from individual point-like features to larger regions.
