Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Diese dreistündige Vorlesung macht die Studierenden mit wichtigen Konzepten der Ökologie vertraut. Behandelte Themen umfassen Biodiversität und deren Bedeutung für Ökosystemleistung/-stabilität, trophische Interaktionen (Herbivorie, Detritivorie, Mutualismus), Metapopulations- und Metagemeinschafts-Theorie, Störungsökologie, Sukzession, Biogeochemie und globale Stoffkreisläufe.
