Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This is a weekly journal club, where we explore how cutting-edge genomic tools are transforming our understanding of speciation, adaptation and the ecological drivers of biodiversity. We’ll dive into papers that apply next-generation sequencing (NGS) to investigate hybrid zones, the genetic basis of species divergence, and more. Each session features recent research and emerging trends in evolutionary biology, selected according to student interests from a curated list of key papers in evolutionary genomics. Covering a wide range of study systems—including both plants and animals—this journal club will tackle diverse questions and methods shaping the field.
