Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This course will cover prokaryotic evolution as well as its diversity in terms of conserving energy from the environment. It will cover the major transitions in prokaryotic evolution, from the origin of life to eukaryotes. In addition, the major bioenergetics solutions microbes use to conserve energy from the environment will also be covered. The Lecture will be given in English.
