It is the principle aim of this lecture series to give people advanced in their study an overview on selected techniques and technologies which are beyond standard textbook knowledge. A series of specialists, who also work with these techniques in everyday lab-life, will allow students to get a deeper insight into how profound scientific research is conducted on a methodological level.

Die Inhalte werden jährlich adaptiert um neue Entwicklungen einzubauen. Wesentliche in der Vorlesung enthaltenen Bereiche sind: Moderne Anwendungen in der Lichtmikroskopie, epigenetische Analysen, Genomeditierungsmethoden, Protein-Protein Wechselwirkungen, DNA Reparaturanalysen, strukturbiologische Methoden und Proteomanalysen.
