Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Successful students will be able to summarize advanced theories and concepts in ecosystem
ecology and biogeochemistry and to apply them to selected case studies from terrestrial and
aquatic ecosystems. They will be able to recognize and understand ecological processes at
the small scale and discuss their implications for large-scale biogeochemical fluxes. They will
be able to identify the major consequences of global change for biogeochemical cycles.
