300678 VO+SE Concepts and case studies in Evo-Devo (2008S)

Lectures will introduce modern concepts and questions in evolutionary change, including the roles of developmental, genetic, and non-genetic factors. Seminar discussions will explore examples of evolutionary transformations from the recent literature, such as fin-to-limb evolution, evolution of feathers, and others chosen according to students' interests.
