Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
scientific: Guide the students to become familiar with the field of biological rhythms, behavior and neurological diseases and how these aspects are interrelated and can impact on each other.presentation: Guide the students to be able to extract the key messages from the often complex primary scientific literature and to constructively evaluate these key results. (in English)

student performance will be graded according to:
scientific understanding of the paper in the (slightly) more general scientific context, ability to respond to questions in a knowledgable or logical way (obviously it is not expected from the students to know all the scientific literature, but in such cases it will be expected to go logically about specific questions)about 40percentability to extract and present the key messages, quality of slidesabout 40percentinteractions during the presentations of other studentsabout 20percentlanguage ability has no impact on the grade

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
minimal requirements are to have sufficient scientific background knowledge and English language abilities to be able to make sense of primary scientific literature (with some help of respective teachers for specific details)judgement of performance: see previous point above
